Umicore Electro-Optic Materials is the world’s largest manufacturer of germanium products for thermal imaging and smart sensing. We play a leading role in the supply of germanium wafers for a variety of applications. We can also manufacture finished lenses both in Ge and GASIR® with the help of two DPT machine and a coating chamber. We also have the ability to assemble product and test the final product with our MTF bench.

Umicore Coating Services is market leader in thin film coatings industry. We manufacture coatings for infrared, laser and visible optics. We have also developed and can produce our iDLC coating on GASIR® which has the comparable durability than DLC on Ge but on GASIR®.
